Allen L. Brindo, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026 in his Bellville home with his loving family by his side at the age of 79. Allen was born on February 26, 1947 in Mansfield to the late Shirely Eugene Brindo and Shirley Jean Wittel Brindo.
Allen was a wonderful husband, amazing dad, proud grandpa and a devoted, hardworking, genuine, strong-willed, generous, steady man.
Besides his love for classic cars, the most amazing things in his life were always his wife, kids, grandkids and close friends. If you wanted to find Allen in his true “happy places” you’d find him tinkering around in his garage or working around his property. In his free time, he loved going to car shows, having breakfast with his buddies, watching his birds, working on puzzles, riding his motorcycle, going on long drives with his wife, and spending time with his family.
Allen will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Stephanie Brindo; his daughters, Tracie (Edwing Perez) Gardner, Nichole (Cory) Herrmann and Kristin (Byron) Watkins; his beloved grandchildren, Spencer, Abigail, Alec, Olivia, Zoe and Ellie; his special cousins, Raina (Patrick) Podmore and Peggy (Brad) Hunt. He also leaves behind a host of friends who he thought of as family.
Allen’s family will hold a celebration of his life from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in Three Crosses United Methodist Church, 12 Cleveland Street, Butler, Ohio 44822. A meal and time of fellowship will immediately follow Allen’s life celebration.
Those who were privileged enough to know him well will always miss Allen, but there lives were made all the better for getting to share a part of it with him.
