MANSFIELD — The Richland County Engineer’s Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation are both busy within the county’s borders this month.
As a result, Richland County drivers are going to have to navigate a couple of detours.
On Monday, Richland County engineer Adam Gove announced that McNaul Road, between Vantilburg Road and State Route 603 in Weller Township, will be closed starting on Tuesday, July 21.
The road will be closed for 60 days to allow for a bridge replacement project.
Also on Monday, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced that Hanley Road, just west of U.S. 42, north of the village of Lexington, will close Monday, July 27 for 30 days for a culvert replacement.
The detour route will be west on Hanley Road to U.S. 42 south to Plymouth Street/Lexington Springmill Road north to Hanley Road and reverse.
The estimated completion date of this project is on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
