Bonnie J. Wolfe, 85, of Olivesburg passed from this life late Saturday evening, July 4, 2026, with her loving family at her side.

She was born on April 26, 1941, in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Foster and Margaret (nee Miller) Groff.
Bonnie graduated from Union High School, Class of 1959. She married the love of her life, John R. Wolfe, on July 1, 1961.

She was a homemaker all her life. Bonnie remained very active, she was a devoted member of the Pavonia and Olivesburg Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School Class for more than 60 years. She volunteered as a Gray Lady at Crestview Local Schools and served on the Richland County Board of Elections.

Bonnie is survived by her loving children, Dr. James (Michelle) Wolfe of Mansfield and Lisa (Jeff) Music of Olivesburg; six grandchildren, Erika Weaver of Wooster, Jacob (Annye) Wolfe of Miami, Florida, Paul Wolfe of Reynoldsburg, John Wolfe of Ashland, Nathaniel (fiancé Peyton Collins) Music of Olivesburg, and Audra Music of Olivesburg; three great grandchildren, Brylie and Javion Severs and Faith Weaver; one sister, Dixie Earnest of Mansfield; John’s brother and sister, David Wolfe of Lucas and Mary (Jack) Mawhorr of Concord, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her loving husband, John who passed away only two weeks ago, June 20, 2026; a brother-in-law, Robert Earnest; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Wolfe.

In keeping with Bonnie’s wishes, no services will be observed. She and John will be laid to rest in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Olivesburg.
