Lynn Ann Myers Bridges, age 66, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully into the glory of God, the evening of Monday, June 29th, 2026 at UH Samaritan Hospital of Ashland, Ohio with family by her side, after a 3 1/2 year courageous fight against Endometrial Cancer. She was born on September 4, 1959 to parents Robert Eugene Myers and Wilma Jean (Glover) Myers in Mansfield, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Lisa Dee Myers, maternal grandparents, Kenneth Glover and Gladys Glover Lambert, step-grandfather Ray Lambert, paternal grandparents Amos Myers and Hazel (Metcalf) Myers and father-in-law David Bridges. Also preceded in death by her uncles Kenneth Glover Jr. and Albert O’Neil, and aunts Joyce Williams, Mary Golden, Ruth Hughes and Thelma LeMons, and her like-a-brother cousin, Rick Hughes.

Lynn graduated from Madison High School in 1978. She married her high school sweetheart, Craig Bridges, her husband of 42 years, on May 5, 1984. Together they raised their daughters Laura and Lisa, in Canton, Michigan. Living there for 25 years before returning to their hometown of Mansfield, Ohio. Over the years she truly enjoyed working at The Mansfield News Journal, Valassis Inserts, Waste Management Corporation, at her daughters’ schools, and at Kemnitz Fine Candies in Michigan. She recently retired from Mechanics Bank, as a teller at their Lexington, Ohio branch.

She was a member of several Lutheran churches throughout her life. Growing up, Lynn enjoyed performing and traveling as a member of her church’s handbell choir and doing ballet and dance, as well as taking part in her schools’ choirs and high school marching band.

As a loving Mom, she cherished volunteering her time for her daughters’ school activities, especially chaperoning field trips and helping in the classrooms. She enjoyed cooking for her family and going on vacations with them, and she was an avid strawberry themed collector. Above all, Lynn valued her time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Bridges, daughters Laura Bridges-Kelly (Patrick) of Redford, Michigan, and Lisa Bridges, of Mansfield, Ohio. Mother-in-law, Wanda Bridges, uncles’ Ron Lambert (Wanita) and Harvey Williams. As well as many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are directed by Snyder Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Lexington, Ohio.

Calling hours on Friday, July 10th from 5-7pm. Saturday, July 11th an additional calling hour at 10am, with funeral at 11am, followed by burial at Mansfield Cemetery.
