Cynthia (Cindy) Latham, age 85, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on June 15, 2026 at Primrose Assisted Living in Mansfield surrounded by her loving family. On January 20, 1941 she was born in Valparaiso, Indiana the daughter of the late Earl and Rowena Heilman. On June 15, 2001 she married Al Sackman, her high school sweetheart and together they shared 28 years of marriage.
Cindy was formerly of Candlewood Lake and Powell Ohio.
She has survived by her daughters, Kim (Pete) Hill and Kriss Latham; stepdaughter, Niki Sackman; grandchildren, Joshua (Anjali) Hill, Jacob Hill, Skye MacEwan (Jeff Dennis); brother, Jay (Nancy) Heilman; sister, Barbara Hapak; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Gerald Austin of England and special friend Nancy Sackman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Al and brother-in-law, Fred Hapak.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the aides, nurses and staff of Primrose Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for their compassionate care, kindness, and unwavering support. Their exceptional bedside manner and dedication, brought comfort, dignity, and peace to our mother during her final days.
