About the show

H.M.S. Pinafore is a classic comic operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan, the songwriting team that charted the course for modern musical theatre.

This lively and humorous tale unfolds aboard the British ship H.M.S. Pinafore, where romance, mistaken identities, and social satire set sail for a delightful adventure.

Featuring a talented cast of students in grades 2 to 12, this production brings to life the infectious melodies and witty lyrics that have made H.M.S. Pinafore a favorite for generations.

RYOT productions are offered as an opportunity for participation by students in 2nd through 12th grade, with this production featuring performers who are double-cast in roles within the show, allowing audiences to attend multiple performances as the cast changes each time.

H.M.S. Pinafore features the talents of 22 students, including Ella Aquino, Breah Boyd, Estel Bramlage, Evelyn Brumagin, Lillian Brumagin, Olivia Brumagin, Evalina Curtis, Olive Evans, Violet Fridley, Eliana King, Marilena Kruer, Steliana Kruer, Toby Lux, Elizabeth Pocock, Madelyn Rice, Gianna-Cosette Rohl, Caroline Secrist, Evelyn Shaw, Molly Spoon, Halle Williams, Harper Williams, and Abby Yoak.

The cast is composed of youth aged 7 to 18 from Mansfield, Shelby, Lexington, Ontario, and Ashland.
