SHELBY — Phillips Tube Group Inc. and the Phillips Family Foundation will host the 21st annual Ralph Phillips Memorial Golf Tournament on June 18 at a new location, the Oak Tree Golf Club in Ontario.
The annual fundraiser honors company founder Ralph Phillips and supports youth-focused organizations in North Central Ohio, including Scouting America Buckeye Council, Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland and Junior Achievement.
The tournament traditionally takes place at Shelby Crossing Golf and Event Center, which is undergoing renovations this year.
Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Tree Golf Club, 1440 Old Oak Trail, Ontario. A shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Organizers said golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate in the event, which includes 18 holes of golf on Oak Tree’s championship course.
Tournament activities will include closest-to-the-pin, beat-the-pro and skins contests, along with raffles, door prizes and an awards ceremony. Lunch and dinner will be provided.
Registration costs $500 for a foursome or $150 for an individual golfer.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. The deadline for sponsorships is June 2.
