PLYMOUTH — A gymnasium full of family, friends and community members gathered to celebrate the Plymouth High School class of 2026 Saturday night.
This year’s graduating class included 56 students, who earned a collective $169,350 in scholarships for the next step in their journey.
A dozen of those students graduated with honors. Five class members also earned their associate’s degree through North Central State College’s CollegeNOW program.
Commencement speakers included valedictorian Morgan Follett, salutatorian Kristi Yeager, Principal Joe Morabito and Bryan Fritz, a former high school history teacher in the district who returned to speak at the students’ request.
Senior class president Rylee Gowitzka led her classmates in the turning of the tassels. Health teacher Casey Harrington sang the Plymouth High School alma mater.
The class chose “Ribs” by Lorde as its class song.
