Kenneth Edward Winbigler, age 75, of Bellville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 in OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born August 4, 1950 in Mansfield to the late Kenneth Everett and Catherine Ann Curley Winbigler.

Kenneth appreciated life’s quieter joys and familiar comforts. He could often be found attending classic car shows, adding to his diecast car collection, or enjoying a round of golf. He had a deep appreciation for Western memorabilia and never passed up the chance to watch a good John Wayne movie. A devoted Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and loyal Cleveland Guardians supporter, Kenneth watched every game with enthusiasm and was never shy about voicing his opinion when a play did not go as planned.

Patriotism was important to Kenneth. He held a deep respect for America and for every man and woman who has worn the uniform of our nation’s military.

Most of all, Kenneth valued companionship, loyalty, and the people who shared life beside him. He will be lovingly remembered by his longtime companion, Cynthia Simmons; his sister, Cathy (Dan) Magers of Bellville; his aunt, Eileen Stalikas of New City, N.Y.; Cynthia’s children, Jared Whitcomb and Melissa Bicker and her three children; his son, Joshua Winbigler; and three nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his dear friend, Larry Alexander, and his beloved cat, Bear.

Kenneth’s family will celebrate his life privately. The Bellville Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve his family. To leave a condolence with the family or share a fond memory please visit Kenneth’s obituary page at www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com
