MANSFIELD — Richland County Engineer Adam Gove has announced the closure of one road and the opening of another.
Rome-Greenwich Road, between Noble Road and Baseline Road in Bloominggrove Township, will be closed beginning Monday, May 18. The road will remain closed for 60 days, weather permitting.
The closure will allow for a bridge replacement project.
Meanwhile, Hazel Brush Road, between Plymouth-Springmill Road and Bowman Road in Cass Township, is now open. The road was originally closed in early April when a culvert was damaged by floodwaters.
