Philip Edward Ison, 71 of Ashland passed away on May 4, 2026, at Crystal Care Center in Ashland following an extended illness.
Phil was born on December 28, 1954, in Ashland the son of Charles and Thelma Ison.
He was a graduate of Ashland High School in 1974.
Phil worked for Meijer Department store in Mansfield before illness forced him to resign in 2015. Most of all, Phil valued his Christian faith and strived to live accordingly.
He is survived by one brother, Mark of Smyrna, Tennessee.
Phil is preceded in death by a brother, Paul (2007); his mother, Thelma (2006); and his father, Charles (2003).
Interment will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park. A private family service will be held later by the family.
