MANSFIELD: Carole Irma “Hubbard” Dinger, 90, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. She was born on June 24, 1935 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late John and Catherine (Garver) Jones.
Growing up in the area Hub attended and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1953 and spent many years working at Mansfield Brick.
On August 25, 1956 she married Richard “Biz” Dinger, and the couple shared 49 years of marriage together until his passing in 2006. Now they are reunited together again in Heaven.
She is survived by her children Alan (Jan) Dinger, Elaine (Eugene) McCarrick, and daughter-in-law Lisa Dinger, grandchildren Dustin (Sarah) Dinger, Emily Dinger, Andrew (McKenzie) Dinger, and Megan (Tim) Boggs, and great-grandchildren Jaxon, Zoey, and Addison, brothers Dale (Sandy) Jones and Robert (Doris) Jones, and sister-in-law Diane Jones.
In addition to her husband, Hub is preceded in death by her parents, son Martin Dinger, brothers Milton (Dorothy) Jones, Gerald (Maryann Rondy) Jones, Virgil (Jerrie) Jones, and Art Jones, and sisters Ruth and Miriam Jones.
Friends may call on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 9 to 10 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated immediately after. Burial to follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
