Else Klein, age 95, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Avita Health System-Ontario Hospital.
She was born on August 31, 1930, in Crvenka, Yugoslavia, to the late Philipp and Elisabeth (Oswald) Walter. After immigrating to the United States, she began working at and retired as a seamstress with the North American Knitting Mill. Else’s passion was her home—she took immaculate care of her house inside and had beautiful gardens showcased on the outside.
Else is survived by two children, Helga and Raymond; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Eva Walter; and many other beloved relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Klein; and brother, Ferdinand Walter.
A graveside service will be held in Mansfield Cemetery at a future date.
