MANSFIELD — Mayor Jodie Perry will present her annual “State of the City” in a different format on Tuesday, April 28.
Rather than delivering a speech, the mayor will sit down in a live question-and-answer conversation format with Richland Source Deputy Managing Editor Carl Hunnell.
The discussion inside City Council chambers will be open to the public and also live streamed by the city on its YouTube and Facebook pages.
It will begin at 7 p.m. with the mayor presenting a highlight video.
The discussion will include Perry’s thoughts on the city’s status, including questions on city finances, completed and ongoing projects and a look ahead at initiatives planned for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.
Her formal annual report will be posted on the city of Mansfield’s official website after the event.
Perry is in her third third as the mayor. Hunnell covers city and county government, as well as politics, for Richland Source.
