Jeanette D. Lindsay, age 89, resident of Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
She was born on January 8, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Arnold and Mary (Heiland) Reith.
A 1954 Shelby High School graduate, Jeanette worked at Shelby Seamless Tube, became a homemaker and mother, and later retired from Shelby Insurance. Jeanette enjoyed Cleveland baseball, planting flowers, and cooking and baking for her loved ones.
She is survived by her two sons, Russ (Angela) Lindsay and Chris Lindsay; and her 4 grandchildren, Payton, Emma, Gavin, and Ethan Lindsay.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Russell N. Lindsay, their infant daughter, Tonya, and her siblings, Mary Tedrow and Robert Reith.
A funeral mass will be held at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby at 11:00 AM. Father Chris Mileski will officiate with interment to be held immediately following at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Shelby.
