Arthur “Art” Leroy Lewis, II, age 58 of Ashland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 15, 2025, at University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center. He was born on May 7, 1967, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Art worked as a welder for Ohio Valley Stamping, he loved his job and his coworkers were just like family to him. He enjoyed and played heavy metal music and owned his own sound business. He loved sports and looked forward to watching his teams (OSU Buckeyes, Detroit Redwings, and Las Vegas Raiders) play.
He is survived by his children April Lewis and Arthur “AJ” Lewis; his grandchildren Trinity Gardner and Christopher and Christian Jordan; one great-granddaughter on the way; his girlfriend Roberta Coffman; his siblings Vickie Eichof, Vallerie (Mark) Wallace, Greg (Vicki) Steele, and Vanessa Bissell; his dog Tank; special nephew who was more like a brother Jayson Boyer; and his best friend LeeAnn Wigton
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois (Longshore) Steele-Lewis; his best friend, Paul Abbot; and his dog, Talladega.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
