ONTARIO — The Warriors unloaded Thursday night.
Elie Dawson, Sophie Schuster and Morgan Pearson all belted home runs as Ontario cruised to a run rule-shortened 15-4 win over Galion in Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference girls softball action.
The win was the ninth in a row for the Warriors (9-2, 4-2).
Dawson hit a two-run homer in the first and Schuster followed with a three-run bomb later in the inning. Pearson hit a solo shot to lead off the third.
Pearson, Saylor Smith and Ava Calise each had two hits. Smith tripled and scored three runs while Calise tripled and knocked in three.
Schuster picked up the win, surrendering four earned runs on four hits. She struck out four and walked four.
Maddie Beck took the loss for Galion (1-10, 0-6), allowing seven earned runs on 11 hits in 4.2 innings. Beck was 1-for-2 at the plate with two runs batted in.
