March was a productive month for Madison graduate Nevaeh Lewis.

A sophomore sprinter for Tiffin University, Lewis capped the indoor season with a ninth-place finish in the 60 meter dash at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships in Virginia Beach on March 13.

Her time of 7.47 seconds in the preliminaries was .01 from qualifying for the eight-person final. She was selected to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America second team.

A week later, Lewis teamed with Ayanna Woods, Amirah Dixon and Mikelia Strong to win the 4×100 relay as the Dragons opened the outdoor season at the Lee University Invitational in Cleveland, Tenn. The foursome posted a time of 46.62 seconds.
