Scott A. Foltz, age 51, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charles E. “Sonny” and Shirley A. (Murphy) Foltz.

Scott proudly served in the U.S. Navy from January 1997- February 2004. He served on the USS Vicksburg as a General Duty Corpsman, as staff at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, and Naval Medical Clinic Annapolis, MD, on board the USS Carl Vinson as a flight deck Corpsman and with the Weapons Company US Marine Corps Reserve as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman. He loved his time in the military and was very proud to serve his country.

He later married Jessica D. Dailey on April 29, 2016, in Columbus, Ohio, who survives. He met her on the first date in October 2014 and married a year and a half later, that was because they had a connection that was like peas and carrots from day one. A love story that he wanted to tell everyone about.

Scott moved from Wooster to Mansfield in 2015 and, for the past 10 years, worked as a supervisor for the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Mansfield. He loved his job and cared for the people that worked for him, even though sometimes it didn’t seem like he cared.

Scott just started to attend the Mansfield Free Will Baptist Church, he liked attending and hearing what the pastor had to say, it wasn’t something he had always done but he was adamant about going every week. He loved the outdoors, hiking and taking photos of the mountains and waterfalls, they were his main focus. That’s where he got his solitude and peace of mind from. He was always up for a challenge and did things that he never had done before like hunting, and he enjoyed that so very much, listening to the quiet in the woods and the adrenaline when a deer came in. Riding his Harley and feeling the breeze as he rode; camping, bowling and golfing, always trying to beat his previous score, he might have been a little competitive. Scott loved spending time with friends and family, even though his wife pushed him to do things out of his comfort zone. Growing up Scott was always playing outside with his neighborhood friends, baseball was his biggest passion during his school years.

In addition to his mother, Shirley, and his wife, Jessica, he is survived by his son, Nathan Little and three daughters, Ashley Little, Kala Greene and Lexi Foltz ; and a granddaughter; his brothers, Sean C. (Amanda) Foltz, and Craig A. (Jaqueline) Foltz; his father and mother-in-law, Richard “Rick” (Diane) Dailey; his very good friend, Brian Smith; his foreign “son” Shiqi “George” Chen of China: numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved pets “Rocky” and “Roadie.”

He was preceded in death by his father on August 30, 2022.
