Co-sponsored by local organizations including Ashland County Parks District, the festival offers interactive educational stations, guided bird walks, wildlife experiences, and hands-on activities designed to connect attendees with the natural world.
The event highlights local bird species such as bobolinks, bluebirds, tree swallows, and purple martins, while also featuring pollinators, nature photography, and conservation education. Guests can enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with opportunities to learn, explore, and participate in activities for all ages.
Additional features include a live animal show, a children’s puppet show, raffle prizes (including binoculars), and a casual lunch with burgers, hot dogs, and refreshments available by donation. Informational signage, maps, and staffed check-in areas help guide attendees throughout the experience.
