JoAnn Bantz, age 84 of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on March 11, 2026 at Crystal Care Center of Mansfield following an extended battle with dementia. She was born on July 25, 1941 in Mansfield, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Hunter) Lingafelter. On June 20, 1959 she married Wilbur Leroy Bantz at the Saint Marks Lutheran Church and they shared 15 years together.
She is survived by Joy LeAnn Bantz, Lori Bantz-Fenton, Kris Bantz; her sister, Cheryl Zeuch; brother, Robert Lingafelter; her grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Evelyn Lingafelter; her husband, Wilbur Leroy Bantz and her son, Kurt Leroy Bantz.
Burial will be held at a later date in Mansfield Memorial Park in Ontario, Ohio.
