MANSFIELD — Every person deserves a safe place to call home — a sanctuary where they can rest, recover, and rebuild.

Through the incredible generosity of The Domestic Violence Shelter’s “Room to Heal” donors, we have raised $146,664.62 to date. This outpouring of support is more than a number—it means 16 fully stocked rooms are now ready to provide safety and comfort to individuals, families, and their pets fleeing from violence.

Together, we’ve provided 2,011 nights of safety for 32 adults and 28 children to date in 2026.

Each one of these nights marks a time when a survivor could close the door behind them and finally feel secure, when a child could drift off to sleep without fear, and when families — sometimes alongside their beloved pets — knew they were protected.

Every night is more than just a place to stay; it is a critical moment of rest, comfort, and hope on the journey toward healing.

These upgraded living spaces, vital resources, and life-changing services are possible because of you. Each gift helps create an environment where hope can take root and healing becomes possible. Today, we want to shine a light on the incredible community of donors whose generosity has already begun to transform lives.
