The start wasn’t the problem for Fredericktown, as it began with a 16-10 edge over Milford Center Fairbanks through the end of the first quarter.
Both teams needed to regroup after dueling to a 34-34 standoff at the end of the second quarter.
Milford Center Fairbanks moved ahead of Fredericktown 49-44 as the fourth quarter started.
The Panthers chalked up this decision in spite of the Freddies’ spirited final-quarter performance.
