MANSFIELD — The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) is excited to announce orders are being accepted for the Pond Fish Sale until April 2.

Customers may order Bluegill, Yellow Perch, Largemouth Bass, Fathead Minnows, Channel Catfish, Hybrid Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, White Amur. Pond Conditioner, Optimal Fish Food, and Plastic Bags and Ties may also be ordered.

Orders may be placed online at https://richlandswcd.net/event/pond-fish-orders-due-2/ or at the March 16 Pond Clinic. A minimum order of $30 is required.

All orders must be picked up April 10 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Richland County Fairgrounds Horse Barn. Customers should bring appropriate containers to transport their fish safely.

Five-gallon buckets work well but must have an unscented poly liner to ensure fish have enough oxygen during transport. Customers should also have their containers filled one-third full with the pond water the fish will be transferred into.
