Floyd “Bobo” Benjamin Adkins, 77, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, February, 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Floyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Denise Adkins; his children, Daniel (Ashley) Stamm, Danielle (Jason) Zelle, Jacob (Traci) Adkins, and James Adkins; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his sister-in-law, Helen Adkins; and three great-nephews, Joey, Kallen, and Jaden, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.

He was the son of the late Walter and Ethel Adkins. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Walter “Buck” Adkins; and his sister, Vernie Dean.

Known affectionately as “Bobo,” Floyd was a man deeply loved by his family and friends. He had a kind heart, a steady presence, and an unwavering love for those closest to him. His family will forever treasure the memories they shared and the lessons he passed down through his strength, humor, and steadfast support.

The family is especially grateful to the hospice workers and medical staff who cared for Floyd with such compassion and kindness during his illness and hospital stays. Their support brought comfort, not only to Floyd, but to all who loved him.

Floyd will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Friends and family will gather for visitation Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Wilson Funeral Home 1270 Highway 2565, Louisa, Kentucky at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Floyd will be laid to rest at Workman Cemetery in West Virginia.
