Ernestine “Tina” Boggs Obney passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Tina was born on October 16, 1941, in Enterprise, Kentucky.
She was proceeded in death by her father and mother, Elmer and Pearl Boggs of Mansfield, Ohio; her sister, Virginia Ruth Nickles of Mansfield, Ohio; her brothers, Verlin Boggs of Kokomo, Indiana, and Eddie Boggs of Sylvania, Ohio.
She is survived by brothers, Carl Boggs of Memphis, Tennessee and Glenn Boggs of Bellville, Ohio. She also has many nieces and nephews whom she loved so much.
Tina lived on South Bass Island, Put-In-Bay, Ohio for the last 5 years with her nephew and niece, Steve and Karen Riddle. Tina enjoyed long walks, quilting and sewing, birdwatching and watching football games with family. She was a member of the Hanna Road Church of God in Mansfield, Ohio. Tina touched so many lives, and she will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Franklin Cemetery, 3775 Franklin Church Rd, Mansfield, Ohio 44903.
