Dennis Ray Stickney, age 65, of Mansfield passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was born December 27, 1960, in Mansfield, OH, and was the son of Robert and Mary (Keith) Stickney.
He was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and later retired from Car Star Body Shop, where he worked as a body mechanic. Dennis was exceptionally talented in his trade and took great pride in his craftsmanship. He had a true passion for restoring motorcycles and Volkswagens and could often be found tinkering with engines, always working to bring something old back to life.
Dennis enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and felt most at peace on the open road. He also loved being on the water, whether boating or riding jet skis. Above all, Dennis dearly loved his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs, whom he brought home from a business trip to Texas, and they brought him endless joy.
Dennis is survived by his children, Desiree (Byron) Hughes and Josh Stickney; siblings, Rosemary Baker and Mike (Brenda) Stickney; grandchildren, Caleb Turner and Evan Langley; nieces and nephews, Sunny, Amy, Mel, Lane, Lauren, and Sarah; his dogs, Houston and Bella; and many beloved family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Debbie Mosher and Steve Stickney.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life to be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Kindred Kove, 1710 Lor Kay Dr, Mansfield, OH 44905.
