Richard “Eddie” Edward McWilliams passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Wooster Community Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born on October 26, 1973, in Mansfield to Richard McWilliams and Linda Hayes McWilliams. He graduated from Madison High School in 1992.
He worked at Grit Brothers in Kentucky where he served as the Union President. Most recently he worked as a truck driver and enjoyed traveling.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also participated in demolition derbies at county fairs. He was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan.
Eddie is survived by his children, Blake McWilliams of Mansfield, OH, Hunter and Kace McWilliams of Burlington, Kentucky; his brothers, Ralph (Kathy) Wilkinson of Mansfield, OH and Russell (Debbie) Wilkinson of Charlotte, NC; and his sisters, Susan Lamonte of Brunswick, OH, Kristi McWilliams Myers and Pamela McWilliams Kennedy of Ontario, OH.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hayes McWilliams; father, Richard McWilliams; and brothers, Ronald and Randall Wilkinson.
