Laura Jane Crummey, 63, of Lexington, passed at home February 10, 2026. She was born March 29, 1962 in Mansfield, Ohio and spent her life in Richland County. She graduated from Malabar High, began working right away, and soon started a family. Laura married Tim Crummey in 2011, and they were true companions. She retired as a baker, a job she enjoyed, lastly at Wayne’s Country Market.
Laura was a kind, loyal, friendly and caring person; a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her favorite things in life were spending time with family and friends; she enjoyed taking long drives in the country. She will be so deeply missed by all who loved her.
Laura was preceded in death by her dear brother Bob Hoffman; beloved son Joey; and Jeff Bivens, father of her children.
She is survived by her devoted husband Tim Crummey; daughter Angela Bivens; parents Bob and Marlene Hoffman; sister Lisa (Bill) Fliger; grandchildren Jeffrey & Olivia Rush; loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Per Laura’s wishes, there was no funeral. Instead, a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
