Judith K. Hanna, 86, of Mansfield passed away peacefully Sunday February 8, 2026.
Judy was born January 7, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert J. and Elinor (Prideaux) Kunze. She grew up in Lakewood, Ohio graduating from Lakewood High School in 1958. Judy spent many years living in Elyria Ohio before moving to Mansfield, Ohio in 1996. Specializing in Human Resources, Judy worked as an office assistant for several manufacturing companies over the years. She enjoyed golfing, crocheting, traveling, and both flower and vegetable gardening. A talented musician, Judy played the violin (in her younger years) and taught children to play.
She met her husband, Buddy, while enjoying ice skating socially at several rinks in the Cleveland area. In her later years she most enjoyed her family. Especially her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Laura (Steve) Miller and son Randall (Yvonne) Willis; grandchildren, Andreá (Matt) Walter, Amy (Travis) Lantz, Zachary Miller, Andrea Blanco, Samantha (Aaron) Hunter; 16 great-grandchildren; brother John (Marleen) Kunze; nieces, nephews and extended family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Buddy; and siblings Sydna Becker, James Kunze, and Linda Sanborn.
Judy’s family would like to thank the staff at the Waterford, Magnolia Trails and Southern Care Hospice.
Judy’s family will receive friends Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 11 am – 12 noon in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where cookies and refreshments will be served. A memorial service celebrating the Life of Judith K. Hanna will begin at 12 pm. John Desterhaft will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ontario Christian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
