Axe Social Lounge: From date nights to game nights in downtown Mansfield

MANSFIELD — In downtown Mansfield, Axe Social Lounge is carving out a place where competition and connection go hand-in-hand.

Located at 123 N. Diamond St., Axe Social Lounge offers a mix of axe throwing, arcade games, and board games — creating an experience designed as much for socializing as it is for friendly rivalry.

Guests ages 13 and up can come to compete against friends or simply spend time together in a relaxed, high-energy setting.

The business was recently purchased by Dan Lew, with a clear goal in mind: to give Mansfield another place to gather downtown. That focus on community is central to the lounge’s identity.

“Our goal is to give the city of Mansfield a place to hang out downtown,” said Corey Perdue, who manages the space alongside Savannah Holzworth.

Perdue and Holzworth relocated from Sandusky a little over a year ago and now oversee daily operations. They say they’re excited to get to know the community and share what Axe Social Lounge has to offer.

In addition to open play, the space accommodates groups looking for a shared experience, whether that means competing in axe throwing or unwinding with games before or after a session. The variety makes the lounge accessible to both first-time visitors and returning guests.

This Valentine’s Day, Axe Social Lounge is offering a special promotion designed to turn date night into something different. The lounge’s Valentine’s special encourages couples to pair axe throwing with a night out downtown, adding a playful edge to the holiday.
