Elaine Marie Chahulski, passed away peacefully at Winchester Terrace on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 86.
Born on September 1, 1939, in Cleveland, OH, Elaine was the daughter of the late John and Victoria Chahulski. She was a proud graduate of Madison High School, where she formed lasting friendships and built the foundation for her lifelong community involvement.
Elaine retired from Richland Bank, where she dedicated many years of her career, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers alike. Following her retirement, she focused her time and energy on her passions, particularly her love for St. Mary of the Snows Church. She was an active and cherished member of the parish, where she participated in many activities and lent her support to the church’s mission.
Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Elaine was a devoted homemaker and a creative spirit. She had a deep love for cooking and baking, often sharing her delicious creations with others. Her craftiness extended to crocheting, sewing, and making hand-made gifts that were always thoughtful and filled with love. Elaine also had a green thumb and took great pride in caring for her beautiful flower garden.
Elaine is survived by her dear family, Nichole Cutlip and Deanna Kreiger. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Carol Chahulski; and her cousin, Ken Kreiger.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following at 11:00 am. Elaine will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Near and dear to Elaine was St. Mary’s of the Snow Church, so please consider making a memorial contribution in her honor.
