Mansfield Sr. upends Dover to shake up OCC race
Mansfield Senior topped Dover 62-54 in a tough tilt for an Ohio Cardinal Conference boys basketball victory at Dover High School on Friday night.
The Tygers completed a sweep of the first-place Tornadoes, who owe two of their three OCC losses to Mansfield Senior.
Dover falls to 11-8 overall, 9-3 in the OCC. The Tornadoes have conference games at West Holmes and New Philadelphia remaining.
Senior High improves to 13-7 overall, 9-4 in the conference. The Tygers host Galion Tuesday and travel to Madison on Friday in their final league clash.
Ashland’s win at West Holmes on Friday night gives the Arrows a 10-3 conference record heading into their final league game on Feb. 13 at Lexington.
