Richard L. “Dick” Hall, 81, of Galion passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at Magnolia Terrace.
Born June 3, 1944 in Galion, he was the son of the late of Orvall and Glenna (Mathias) Hall. He married Kathryn Miller on February 1, 1964 and she preceded him in death on July 18, 2022.
Dick was a 1962 graduate of Iberia High School. He retired from the Galion Fire Department as a Lieutenant. He enjoyed farming and was a member of the Morrow County Antique Tractor and Equipment Club. He owned Y & B Auto Body Shop for many years in Galion.
He is survived by daughters, Julie (Gene) Moyer of Galion, Terri (Cliff) Murphy of Galion; son, Richard (Stephanie) Hall of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Zachary Moyer, Andrew Murphy, Grace Murphy, Evan Murphy, Zachery (Jenia) Slone, and Braxton Hall and a sister, Janice Leavens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday February 6, 2026 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will follow at 1:00 PM with Celebrant Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery.
