RICHLAND COUNTY — Winter Storm Fern is expected to roll across Ohio late Saturday and continue throughout the day on Sunday with as much as a foot of snow expected in some portions of the state.
We are firing up a live blog to help all of us get through it with updated information on things like snowfall, power outages, winter road snow emergencies, photos, stories and more.
Richland Source Deputy Managing Editor Carl Hunnell will be your host throughout the day, which means plenty of grumpy old man complaints about the cold and snow — and when his coffee runs low.
He has already started, in fact.
“Winter Storm Fern??,” he just grumbled. “Who the hell names a snowstorm? In my day, it was the Blizzard of ’78. Not Winter Storm Alice!!”
Other Source media reporters may also join us throughout the storm, which is shaping up to be the biggest of the winter — so far.
If you have photos, videos or anecdotes you would like to share, send them to Carl.Hunnell@RichlandSource.com and we will try to publish them for the world.
Stay with us all day on Sunday and we will watch the snow fall together.
