Doris Ann Sharrock passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 6, 1943 in Mansfield, Ohio to Arthur W. Sr. and Leffe (Walterhouse) Herman. She was a lifelong Mansfield resident.
On March 19, 1960 Doris married the love of her life, David Sharrock, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned 65 cherished years.
A woman of deep and unwavering faith, Doris loved the Lord with all of her heart. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing gospel hymns, hosting and attending bible studies and surrounding herself with fellowship in several local churches throughout her life.
Doris cherished life’s little pleasures and celebrations; never missing a hair or nail appointment, decorating her home beautifully for every season and holiday, spending time on large family vacations, or any chance to eat ice cream or shop.
Doris is survived by her beloved husband David, her children David E. (Lisa J.) Sharrock, Rhonda (Troy) McElroy, and Lisa A. Sharrock, grandchildren and their spouses – Elisa, Jennifer, Bryan, Adam, Josh, Dusty, Branden, Nathan, and Kaleb, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Arthur Jr and Betty, father and mother-in-law Lester & Marian Sharrock, daughter-in-law Shirley, sister-in-law Beth Evans, and brother-in-law Scott Sharrock.
The Sharrock family will receive guests on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10 am to noon at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel, with a funeral to begin at noon. Burial to follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
