Molly Elaine (Martin) Neiderhouser, 64, of Mansfield, OH, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2026, in her home.

Molly had a heart of gold. She was willing to give you anything even when she had nothing. She was born in Mansfield, OH on October 1, 1961, to Frederick Martin and Margaret Militello. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High, Class of ’79. A true pioneer, she was the first female to graduate Auto Mechanics at Senior High.

She was fond of Harley rides, tattoos, and bad boys. She enjoyed being a dog mom; over the years she cared dearly for her ‘fur’ babies. She was true to her hippie roots, spending most of her time outdoors and in the garden, with a keen eye for landscaping. She had a true green thumb, sharing her plants and knowledge with family and friends. She also enjoyed antiquing; her collection of unique treasures always had an interesting story. Molly had the gift of gab, always creating new connections, making everyone feel like family.

Molly was preceded in death by her mother and fathers, Margaret Militello, Frederick Martin, and Thomas Militello. She is survived by her daughter, Katy Martin, sister, Mandy (Martin) Hornung, brother, TJ (Terryann) Militello, nieces Candace Hornung, Athena (Justin) Dinger, Halee (Curry) Bloom, great nieces Aubrey Hornung and Keira Dinger, and 5 great nephews, Grayson Bise, Riley Dinger, Raiden Bloom, Xander Bloom, and Talon Bloom.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on behalf of Molly at later date, announced via social media.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Molly’s name to the Richland County Dog Warden & Adoption, 810 N Home Rd, Mansfield, OH 44903: cash, check or Venmo: @friendsoftherichlandcountydogs.
