ONTARIO — Cardae Brown scored 32 points and Ontario bounced back from its first loss of the season with a resounding 68-38 win over Madison at the O-Rena on Saturday.

A 6-foot-3 sophomore, Brown dropped 14 points in the third quarter as the Warriors (12-1) pulled away in the second half. He sat out most of the fourth quarter and finished one point off his career high of 33 set against Highland earlier in the month.
Ontario bounced back from Friday’s 63-57 Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference loss to River Valley. The Viking took sole possession of first place in the chase for the MOAC title.
“Last night was definitely tough, but we were able to put it behind us,” said Brown, who scored 21 points in the loss to the Vikings and is averaging 22.3 points a game. “We bounced back and got a big win.”
Trindon Flenoury backed Brown with 17 points. Trey Remy added 10.
Madison (3-7) had won two in a row and three of the past four. Kaleb Gordon led the Rams with 14 points, while Justin McCraney added eight.
