The Trojans got the better of the action throughout the first half, owning a 15-13 margin over the Eagles at halftime.
Greenwich S. Cent. moved ahead by earning a 25-24 advantage over Monroeville at the end of the third quarter.
The Eagles pulled off a stirring 16-11 fourth quarter to trip the Trojans.
Last season, Monroeville and Greenwich S. Cent. squared off on Jan. 14, 2025 at Monroeville High School.
In recent action on Dec. 30, Monroeville faced off against Ashland Mapleton and Greenwich S. Cent. took on New London on Dec. 30 at South Central High School.
