Janet C. Lowe, age 81 of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her home with her son by her side. She was born on December 19, 1944, in Cambridge to the late Carol and Edith Kimble, and on May 5, 1962, she married the love of her life, Benjamin Lowe.
Janet worked for 40 years as a nursing assistant, and she loved every minute of it. Her family was very important to her, and she spent as much time with them as she could. She was always a barrel of laughs and a joy to be around.
She is survived by her son Ed Lowe and her great-granddaughter Abrianna Bays.
She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Lowe; her grandchildren Ben Lowe and Angie Bays; her parents Carol and Edith Kimble; and her siblings Eva, Marcella, Norma, Bill, Louise, and Sandy.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
