Sharon E. Jordan, age 82, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Country Meadows Nursing Facility in Bellville, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 10, 1943 to the late Sterling and Esther (Miller) Dull in Willard, Ohio, she had been a 1961 graduate of Plymouth High School. Sharon was a lifelong Plymouth area resident.
Sharon met the love of her life, Jimmy Jordan, and the two were married on February 3, 1961. In 1964, they completed the home they built together in Plymouth, where they lovingly raised their four children. Sharon was naturally a people person, a gift that led to great success as a Tupperware salesperson for many years. With her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, she could effortlessly bring a smile to your face and leave you laughing.
Sharon was also exceptionally gifted in crafting. For more than 24 years, she set up booths and attended craft shows throughout the area, selling the many beautiful pieces she created. During their retirement years, Sharon and Jim owned and operated “Pawpaw’s Workshop & Granny’s Market” in Plymouth, where Jim crafted the woodworking for her various art projects. Following their successful crafting career, they owned and operated a hot dog food cart. They would sell food locally at the Shelby Bicycle Days, Glen’s Surplus as well as various family members graduation parties.
More than anything, Sharon adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family get-together’s were always the most important moments to her, and she treasured every opportunity to have the entire family together.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jim Jordan; children Karen (Eric) Maskey of Crestline; Jodi Keller of Occee, FL; Bryan Jordan of Decator, IN; Michelle (Jim) Heilman; Occee, FL; five grandchildren, Jenny, Roger, Melisha, Nick “Bryan” and Ryan; 13 great-grandchildren as well as her special neighbors, friends and caregivers, Bob & Sue.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery A. Jordan; her sisters, Leona Henery, and Mary Alice Wright; and her brother Hugh “Mac” Washburn.
Friends may visit the family at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Her nephew, Pastor Eddie Douglas will officiate with interment taking place at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be in Sharon’s memory to the Catholic Charities.
