MANSFIELD – Youngsters in the care of Richland County Children Services (RCCS) will received gifts Wednesday donated by our generous communities across Richland County for the Richland Correctional Institution and Richland County Children Services “Holiday Toy Drive.”
The distribution was from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Mansfield Correctional Institution ManCI Warehouse, at 1150 N Main St.
The warehouse was transformed into Santa’s Workshop. Families had the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, enjoy Christmas cookies and hot chocolate.
This year, hundreds of toys were collected through community partnerships, individuals, and corporate donations.
Richland Correctional Institution (RiCI), in collaboration with Richland County Children Services (RCCS), hosted a “Holiday Toy Drive” from Oct. 20 to Dec. 1 for youths in the care of RCCS.
