Lexington finally found a way to top Mansfield 63-61 for an Ohio boys basketball victory at Lexington High on Dec. 16.
Lexington darted in front of Mansfield 22-20 to begin the second quarter.
The Minutemen opened a tight 37-33 gap over the Tygers at the intermission.
The gap remained steady with both teams scoring evenly in the third quarter.
The Minutemen chalked up this decision in spite of the Tygers’ spirited final-quarter performance.
Last season, Lexington and Mansfield faced off on Jan. 28, 2025 at Mansfield High School.
In recent action on Dec. 6, Lexington faced off against Sandusky and Mansfield took on Wooster Triway on Dec. 9 at Triway High School.
