Tina Marie Carpenter of Shelby passed away Saturday morning, November 22, 2025, at her home. She was 64 years old.
Born January 10, 1961, in Elyria, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dolores (DeNoon) and Robert Kenyon. Tina was passionate about being a paramedic and worked for several years in the field. She enjoyed the beach, fishing, boating, cruises, really anything water related. She found the greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren.
Tina is survived by her husband, James Carpenter; six children, Mike Sloan, Matt (Ginger) Sloan, Wesley (Jamie) Carpenter, Jason (Tasha) Carpenter, Andrew (Samantha) Carpenter and Jessica Pace; six grandchildren, Lexy, Jaylynn, Kayden, Jace, Izabella, and Madeline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Kessler; two brothers, Scott Kenyon and Michael Kedrow; and her stepmother, Carol Bryant.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A memorial service will immediately follow at 8:00 pm. with Rev. Jeffrey Scott officiating.
