Rosemary M. Haffner, 80, of Galion passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at her home.
Born February 21, 1945 in Sioux Falls, SD she was the daughter of the late Dr. Richard and Anne Marie (Bruch) Wagner. She married Jack Haffner on June 22, 1968 and they enjoyed 53 years together.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Mount Saint Joseph College in Cincinnati. She worked in Interior design at Interior Finishes in North Royalton.
Rosemary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crestline. She enjoyed sewing, and quilting hats for newborns at the hospital. She enjoyed her dog and cat but her favorite treasure was her family.
She is survived by daughters, Gretchen (Frank) Cantelmo of Streetsboro and Heidi (Allen) Hocker of Crestline and grandchildren, Olivia (Jaret) Tinkey, Allison, Abigail and Luke Hocker and Jacob and Gabriella Cantelmo.
In addition to her parents and husband Jack, she was preceded in death by her grandson Jackson Cantelmo.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 331 Thoman Street, Crestline, Ohio. 44827 with Father Jeff Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society Serving Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
