Margaret (Ehalt-Imhoff) Soulen, age 97, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at
her home on November 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, her beloved cat
Danny and two very special caregivers.
Born November 13, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the cherished daughter
of the late James F. Ehalt and Catherine (Brick) Ehalt.
She is survived by her children: Pamela Imhoff Kinkel (John), Kay Imhoff Leedy (Terry),
Richard Imhoff (Vickie) and Catherine Imhoff Hart (Gene). She is also survived by
Richard Soulen and Carol Soulen Young. Peg also had nine grandchildren: Jonathan
Kinkel (Melanie), Andrew Kinkel, Richard Kinkel, Abby Hart Hutcheson (Matt), Adam
Hart (Amanda), Sara Imhoff Mercer (James), Allison Imhoff, Jenni Imhoff Pletcher
(Adam), and Justin Leedy (Hillary). Also, ten wonderful great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild, who will all miss her dearly.
Peg graduated from Seton Hill in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. She was energetic,
curious, humorous, and fun-loving her entire life. A devoted wife, mother, and
grandmother, she was also an interior designer for her late husband’s architectural firm,
R W Soulen and Associates.
Peg was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Soulen, and her two
cherished brothers James Ehalt and Robert Ehalt.
A private graveside service will be held at Mansfield Cemetery, where Peg will be laid to rest.
