MANSFIELD — The Renaissance Performing Arts Association invites the community to celebrate the season with the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra (MSYO) in their annual Holiday Prelude concert on Dec. 14 at 3:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Theatre.

Under the direction of Stephen Domka, these gifted student musicians from a twelve-county region will perform joyful new arrangements of holiday favorites alongside beloved orchestral classics. From timeless melodies to spirited surprises, the program showcases the passion, dedication, and artistry of North Central Ohio’s next generation of performers.

“This concert is one of the most heartwarming traditions at the Ren,” said Chelsie Thompson, President & CEO of the Renaissance Performing Arts Association. “It’s an opportunity for families to come together, experience the magic of the season, and be inspired by the incredible talent of our young musicians.”

About the Youth Orchestra

The Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra is composed of approximately 90 of the region’s finest high school musicians, representing a twelve-county area. As the only youth orchestra within a 65-mile radius of Mansfield, the MSYO provides students with valuable ensemble experience while enriching the cultural landscape of the community. Part of the Mansfield Symphony’s Education Initiative, the program offers students the chance to perform a wide variety of orchestral repertoire within a full symphony setting—an opportunity not always available at their schools.
