MANSFIELD — OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is hosting an open house event to unveil the winners of its very first pediatric unit art contest.
This year’s theme is: “What Does Healthy Mean to You?”
Up to 10 winners’ artwork will be displayed in the pediatric unit lobby. Student artists and their families are invited to the event. Dr. Martin Hanawalt, medical director of the pediatric hospitalist program, will also speak.
Students in all of north central Ohio were invited to submit artwork to brighten the space in the pediatric unit. The goal was to increase community engagement and support patients and their families.
Media will have the opportunity to take photos/videos during the open house and interview pediatric nurse Heather Nicole, as well as the contest winners.
