MANSFIELD — In 2010 Blue Door Development Group shared plans to purchase several parcels along Parker Street — with a goal to create affordable housing in Mansfield.

At the time, developer William Barber told Richland Source the group’s vision included building five duplexes on Parker Street.

Now, those plans are showing new signs of progress.

Local real estate investor Candiss Patrick said Blue Door Development Group purchased the parcels from the land bank in 2020 and officially had them transferred this October.

“We have quite a few other big projects in the works,” Patrick added.
