The Warriors (16-4-1) advanced to the Elite Eight and will play Granville for a regional title and a berth in next week’s state semifinals at 6 p.m. Saturday at Marion Harding’s Ohio Health Field. Granville beat Elida 5-2 in Marion on Wednesday.
Lexington (13-5-3) beat the Warriors 4-2 at Ontario in late-August. The Warriors flipped the script Wednesday.
Pittman scored in the sixth minute off a Sasha Bulakovski assist and added an unassisted goal when her corner kick rattled the far post and deflected off the back of a Lexington defender with 11:37 left in the second half for a 2-0 Ontario advantage.
Lexington cut the deficit in half when Tessa Them cleaned up a free kick from Morgan Harrod with nine minutes to play.
Ontario will play for its first berth in the Final Four since reaching the Division III state championship game in 2012. The Warriors also reached the state semifinals in 2010.
